Finding the Love of Your Life. (Not Necessarily What You May Be Thinking)

by

By this, (I do not necessarily mean a significant other) I mean finding whatever makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning and gives you a reason to live, to be excited to live everyday - like finding the career of your dreams.

At some point in our lives: We have all desired, ached to find the love of our life.

And, when it is found: this is when we are at our best, this is when everything else seems to suddenly come rushing into our lives, including a significant other. This is because like energy attracts like energy. Confidence attracts confidence, etc. I believe this wholeheartedly.

But, if this has not happened for you yet - how do you find the love of your life?

I truly believe that each and every one of us, knows deep inside our hearts what truly gives us that magical feeling, what makes us feel happier than anything else can (again, outside of a significant other). I believe most of us found this out when we were children. When our hearts were completely open to the world. When we were allowed to just take on each day with little care in the world and much time to just live life unfettered.

So, if you are already living the life you have dreamed of, you are blessed and an inspiration to those who are not! And if you are not yet, know that you still can. Maybe you need to take baby steps to reach your dreams. Take them. Each day work toward your dreams, at your pace, but keep moving toward them. You deserve all the dreams you’ve every imagined coming true. And, everyday you try, everyday, they are coming true.

This is so beautifully written and thought out! I agree with all you say every word of it. Many people are depressed because they don’t have their significant other but don’t see or appreciate what they already have and love or follow their dreams. I know a photographer that is one of the most amazing I have ever known he could go so far if he only put away his insecurities and work on his love of photography and art he too lacks self confidence. I just met my sisters for the first time ever and I feel that was something that made me happy and complete and I am very lucky and happy with my significant other and love him dearly but I wasn’t waiting for him to come around he came when I needed him most but did not expect it.
