For the Passionate Artist.

Starving, striving, working, dreaming…

Artists create beauty, wonder and fill our lives with magical moments, incredible pieces that touch our hearts and never leave us the same. I believe art is one of the closest ways people can be “intimate” with one another minus physicality. It is an amazing gift to bestow or share.

Though you may be one of the many starving artists, keep your dreams alive. If others have reached their dreams, so can you!!

Look toward those who are where you want to be, they are your role models…they have already paved a pathway to success letting you know it IS possible and IS happening for you. Every word you write, every song you sing…you are getting closer and closer.

And, as you continue forward with this journey, know that you are blessing this world with a beauty that will live forever, that WILL change lives, that WILL change hearts.

So, please keep striving, keep dreaming, keep working hard at your craft….for, always.

    Liane -

What beautiful thoughts. Your words are inspiring to me, a young artist. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

I do have 1 tip for you. I just found a new art site, http://www.imagekind.com. This site lets you sell your art online - it’s really awesome. I use flickr and they let me import directly. I’ve already had someone buy a print from me!! How’s that for starving artists!!

If you want to check out my gallery, here’s my site: http://meredith-roma.imagekind/roma

Thanks for all the encouragement, I sure need it!! :)
