New Year Dreams.

by

by: Liane Schmidt

Now more than ever, I am resolving to follow my heart and trust my intuition. If something does not feel right, I must let it go, I must. The more time that passes by, the more dreams that I think up, the more doors that begin to open up, I realize that this is what I must do.

Yes, we can love many people. We are all one. But that does not mean that everyone can be a friend. A friend is someone who lifts you up, supports you completely, and accepts you entirely for who you are. If a person falls short of any of these things, to me, that is not a friend. This has been a life long lesson for me to learn, but it is an essential, important lesson and it will only afford me greater, more beautiful moments in my life.

Many people fear being alone. These are the people, I fear. How can one fear one’s own company? If one truly love’s oneself, then being with themselves is a miracle, a gift, a joy! If one fears spending alone time with themselves, I would fear spending time with them as well. I believe the most important thing in life to do is to fall in love with one’s self. Be completely happy alone, and then all else that comes along to one’s life will be beautiful and in harmony with that person’s inner spirit.

If one truly loves oneself completely then they will never settle for less. They will never compromise their values, dreams, or goals for anyone…because if someone truly loves them, they would never let them compromise these things.

Happiest, most joyous beautiful New Year to all.
